Variety of Processing Types for Ceramics
Every ceramic design is based on a set constraints, requiring certain material and process to fulfll the specific product functions. Because of the unique capability to fine-tune the composition of each ceramic, Everspring can offer a large range of materials as well as various processes to meet your specific needs.Contact us now if vou need our support on choosing the right material or process for your new design.

Tape casting
Tape casting involves the casting of a slurry onto a flat moving carrier surface. The slurry usually consists of a ceramic powder withthe appropriate additions of solvents plasticizers and binders. The slurry passes beneath the nife edge as the carrier surface advances along a supporting table, The solvents evaporate to leavea relatively dense flexible sheet that may be stored on rolls or stripped from the carrier in a continuous process.

Low pressure injection molding
low pressure injection molding is ideal for high-volume production of complex, tight-tolerance components, ceramic injectior significant advantages over conventional forming methods:
  • Cost-effective technique for complex designs

  • Ability to produce net or near-net shape parts

  • Very tight tolerance control

  • Low-cost, high-volume manufacturing runs

Extrusion process
Extrusion process consists of forcing a plastic mix of a ceramic powder through a constricting die to produce elongated shapesthat have a constant cross-section. The powder mix consists of a fine ceramic powder with the appropriate additions of bindersand plasticizers to give the desired flow properties, either cold or when heated prior to being forced through the die.

Diamond Grinding & polishing
High levels of accuracy and surface finish can be achieved by diamond grinding. Tolerances of a few microns are commonplaceDiamond polishing usually adopted on guide surface of ceramic parts to enable excellent performance in guiding wire, cable, yarn , etc.

Custom manufacturing
We maintain a facility for custom manufacturing to meet your specifications. f you are working on a new design you arewelcome to take advantage of our substantial experience in development new products. Please inform us your requirements such as,Applications,Force applied or loaded,Working temperature Tolerance,Surfaceroughness, etc. In that case we could choose suitable material and process for you considering both your application anoeconomical efficiency.

Cold isostatic pressing(CIP)
Cold isostatic pressing (CIP) applies pressure from multiple directions for achieving greater uniformity of compaction (highquality parts) and increased shape capability, compared to uniaxial pressing. There are two methods of carrying out isostatic pressing:n wet-bag isostatic pressing, powder is encased in a rubber sheath that is immersed in a liquid which transmits the pressureuniformly to the powder.
In dry-bag isostatic pressing, rather than immerse the tooling in a fluid, the tooling itself is built with internal channels into whichhigh-pressure fluid is pumped.

Slip casting.
Slip casting refers to the filling of a mould, a negative of the desired shape, with a slip consisting of a suspension of micrometer size ceramic particles in liquid.
The capillary action due to the pores in the mould withdraws the liquid from the slip. As the liguid filters into the mould a cast formed on the mould surtace. stable slips with high solids contents and low viscosity's can be prepared by careful adjustments of the chemistry of the slip by adding deflocculants.

Dry pressing
Dry pressing ls used to manufacture mas-produced precision ceramic products. Non-clumping granulates are compressed insteel dies designed appropriately for the part to be manufactured. The high cost for the dies (sometimes made of carbide) canonly usually be justified for large runs.
dry pressing ceramic is the most economic process for large production runs, and is suitable for both simple and complexgeometries. Depressions and holes are normally only designed in the pressing direction.

Computerized Numerical Control(CNC)
CNC is an automactic machine tool equipped with a program control system used for finish machining for ceramic and metalparts. This could precisely process the finish to the level as required, The best precision could reach 0.1um.
